Dear Friends,
Kaunas has been a Sister City of Los Angeles since 1991. It is one of
L.A.'s twenty-five Sister Cities--all part of a program dedicated to
promoting international relations, trade and cultural exchange.
To help further this goal, I am pleased to invite you to a celebration
of Los Angeles's Sister Cities Program at the Gilmore Adobe (nestled
within the Grove shopping complex) on Thursday, May 6th, from
5:30-10:00 p.m.
Built in 1852, the Gilmore Adobe is one of the oldest structures in
Los Angeles. This celebration is a unique opportunity to see the
property and mingle with an international crowd representing more than
two dozen countries.
For more information about the event, please see the attached flier.
Tickets are $75 and will benefit the Los Angeles Sister Cities
program.
Space is limited, so please don't wait and use the attached form to
order your tickets.
Let's show our support for this important program and ensure that
Lithuanians are well-represented!
Hope to see you there - iki pasimatymo!
